Wow, that's some work! Well done on that. It's a bit quixotic, but I'm particularly interested in uncovering botanical references in literature, Shakespeare and Elizabethan times are a niche interest of mine for example. I've started a little Physic garden which I am enjoying adding to.I have been studying the Ethnobotany of Britain for years now - I have concentrated on native British plants (here before the Dogger flooded). My database contains around 1,400 plants but, so far, based on some 50+ reference sources I only have just over 400 that have food, medicinal, and/or utilitarian uses recorded. I keep finding the odd one or additional uses of existing ones; it's a lifelong study![]()
