Hi Folks,

Just joined up and thought I'd say hello.

I'm a bushcraft novice but love being in the outdoors camping/fishing etc.
Looking to get out and explore my beautiful country a bit more and thought bushcraftuk would be a good place to ask questions and get some advice.

I've had a look and luckily there appears to be a lot of bushcraft courses based in Scotland. Wondering if any of you guys have any advice on the best courses to go on based on personal experience? Probably looking to do a weekend starter course initially.

Any advice is appreciated

Aw the best

Scribblz :)

Dunfermline (Fife) used to be the capital of Scotland I'll have you know :nana:
....Well, until the 17th century anyway :swordfigh

Welcome aboard, I'm in Glen Lyon just up the road ( in relative terms ) if we ever goto "the big smoke" (Perth) we normally stop in at Tiso as the cafe is good there - nothing to do with looking at kit and gizmos ;)

Hello and welcome. I love your part of the world. If I was.you I'd go along to a meet, get the feel amongst a group of friendly folk first before going on a course. You'll know more what you need after that. People at meets are so helpful, I learn masses every time I go :)
