Hi everyone!

Just joined today and thought I'd say a quick "hi" before I go rummaging through the forum. I've been camping since I was a wee tot with my parents but only recently taken it back up again. I'm no stranger to canvas on a camp site but I'm a complete newbie when it comes to wild camping, so I've decided to broaden my knowledge and get chatting to people with similar interests

Recent "wild" camps have been down Glen Etive... stunning. Hoping to build my kit (and confidence) up enough that I can go backpacking and ditch the car.

Welcome to the forum. As its been said there are a few members living in Scotland.

Keep your eyes peeled as there are regular meets where folk get together to share skills and generally chill out.

Hello Sarah, welcome to the forum and as everyone's been saying enjoy yourself they're a friendly bunch here. I've only been to one group meet myself and it was great (usually not fond of big groups camping together but the folk were so good.) For wild camping just think Camping - with at least twice the fun and none of the idiots! Glen Etive's nice, beautiful countryside.
