Over the last few months I've been wanting to get back to my roots, and leave the "town" behind - My roots being a Country Lad at heart.
One of the ways I've been doing this is by learning Bushcraft, and surviving off the land - more recently I've been taking some fairly long treks down to an area of woodland a few miles down the road and setting up there for a few hours, getting my food cooked via a fire i've built up (and started using a 9V battery and steel wool) - I am thoroughly enjoying it!
As my main job runs in conjunction with the schools, I get nigh on all of the summer holidays off ... So I plan on heading in to the woods for a week or two at a time and learning more about survival from the land .... My only real issue is I don't really like the dark, and I hate spiders!
Oh, and I also hate cows and clows ... I will run a mile if I come across one!
