Good evening one and all..... I am really excited to join the forum, and looking forward to learning, sharing experiences, and hopefully making friends!

I passionately love the outdoors, it is a way of life for me - I Run a small tree surgery business in Dorset so I spend a great deal of my time swinging about in trees and working outside.

Its my 29th birthday today and i have been eyeing up a new bushcraft knife as a treat/present to my self to mark the occasion. I will enjoy searching the forum to find inspiration for design, style, and others opinions on what to look for!

As for your knife have a butchers in the edged tools section. There are some great makers on the forum, Hillbill makes some cracking knives so does woodcutter2 just to mention a couple!!
