As a new member I thought it would be nice to do a quick introduction.
I am from the Netherlands, and I live quite in the center of it (in NL, everything is close to the center
).
I like to spend time in the nature that is surrounding my village. Hiking and camping are among my favorite activities. However, wild camping is officially forbidden.
Once or twice a year, i like to do a hike in countries like France, Germany, United Kingdom, and next on my list is Sweden.
Since a big part of the fun is the preparation, equipment, etc, I spend some time on making my own equipment, or balancing out the stuff I carry with me in order to reduce weight, or maximize efficiency.
I hope to meet like minded people here, and learn from you experiences as well as sharing mine.
