Remember the Bibilcal Fire thread in BCUK? You contributed if I remember right.
While looking for references for that I came across a site with old photographs of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Can't seem to find it right now though
What blew my mind away were the photos of the carpenters shops with bowdrills as carpentry tools in the street of the carpenters.
So not only did pharoah use the bow drill but certainly so did Christ, when he was earning and learning his trade, and If that is not an endorsement for the bow drill I don't know what is!
