rapidboy: can you tell me what these knives are please?

They are made by a friend of mine, he's not a member on here but he posts on the British Blades forum under the user ID " Davidh"

I've long lusted after one of Davidh's folders and these photos have just reminded me why I love them.

However, Duncan's blade arrived this morning and I fitted it to my Peasant. It's thicker than the standard blade and makes the knife much more substantial. I'm really pleased with it and look forward to testing it out properly over the weekend.

So thanks Duncan, good work and good service.

Let us know how you get on, I really want one too! What grind did you get?

I got a scandi grind (20 deg). Nice weight to the blade but I'll possibly need to find a way to space the handle a little further to accommodate the extra thickness of the blade. Very sharp too.
