I've been getting lots of email on these take down bucksaws, since the company has gone under and the special blades to fit such saws are being bought up in quantity.

So if you have one check for extra blades now...

Have started on forming a buck saw blade from a 30" blade. Taking cell phone pictures as I go along but will need help to install them in forum.

ok, just got out of hospital, eye surgery. may take a few weeks to see?

Have modified one blade so far. It came out well enough but second one will be better and more simple in modification. To drill hole in blade end, heating up blade and reducing the hardness was needed. Re-hardened it to some extent after hole was drilled. Will contact OldJimbo wit info when other blades are done. Should be better after 6 are made.
