Heads up for the Lyrid Meteor Shower

If you are lucky enough to be out and about tonight (or over the next couple of nights) in a dark skies area, look up because the 2017 Lyrid meteor shower is reaching its climax.

It was moonless and almost cloudless last night so perfect conditions for spotting shooting stars but a bit disappointing from 10pm onwards last night. It was supposed to get better in the early hours but I was tucked up in bed by then. Might try again tonight if it is still cloudless.

Anyone else do any better?
