If its not the shape you want, why not create your own - the best thing about knife making is that you make it to fit your hand - only your hand, and you get to be as creative or as rustic as you want.

why use a template? make a knife that you like, not one that somebody else says that you will like! Really if it's your first knife, as long as it has a blade and a handle then that is all you need to know
