Hangs on shoulder (shoulder pad not shown). Drawstring at bottom of net opens to release contents. Being a netmaker by avocation I am alays looking for different ways to use the craft. Tony

I never measured. I suppose between 5 - 10 pounds. It's a small version. Tony
