Down to Brum area for the next few nights, Hampton in Arden, I'll be locked in a conference room most of the day but is there anything of interest in that area?

Yes mate you are right on my doorstep.
If you get a chance for a walk I would recommend Austy Woods it is about a 10 minute drive towards Henley In Arden. It's just off Stratford Road on Petticoat Lane before you get to the Navigation Inn. There is a slip road off the lane to the right hand side as you drive along the road and that leads into the woods. Well worth a walk along there and a look.
You might wanna drop into the Heritage Centre in Henley In Arden as well if it is open.
Good pub grub at the Black Swan as you enter Henley Village first pub on the left.
