Ok well i tried my best, seems to work ok. I just used two old metal rings i had from an old net hammock and used a couple of other clips which i had kicking about to attach onto them. I'll give it a bash this weekend hopefully and see how it goes. Cheers again to everyone for helping me out with ideas.

Ok so i've been using hammocks for just over a year now and this year i bought one from DD, i have no problem tying it up etc.. but i have heard some people use carabiners and attach the webbing to that somehow. You'll have to excuse me if i'm sounding a little dense but can anyone show me how this is done? i have done a search but found nothing.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ty webbing around a tree, not the green webbing threaded thru the hammock, then clip the krab to that, now ty the hammock green webbing to the krab allowing easy adjustment.

You don't need the rings and the 'biners just one or the other.

Yeah i did realise that once i had done it and just thought might aswell leave it that way, no doubt i'll change it again at some point this weekend. Really nice and sunny up here today so fingers crossed it stays this way.
