Well, I ordered one.... Ukhammocks,
First impression,
Disappointed that it wasn't in a sack,
Cordage and material looked fragile ??
Took it out for a play while taking the dog out,,,,,,after a couple of fails, and falling on my ****! I still wasn't trusting it fully, so the jury was still out !,
Went to my woods today to give it a proper go...set up.... After it had finished creeking and groaning I found it was not to bad, I'm still dubious about the cordage?
I'll use it more as with everything it'll grow on me..

The cordage on mine is dynema and it wont break believe me
The only problem is the string is quite slippery and knots can come undone
I'm told the slippery coating wears off with use...

more likely the cord will be more slippery when the coating wears off - the cord I use a lot (Dynaglide) is like that and is the reason I use splices more than knots with the cord

locked brummel eye splice is the most common splice I use, I also use an end splice to make the ends look nice but typically I just melt the ends of the cord, I also use a constriction section for the UCRs that I make which is sort of a splice I guess
