Group Buy Amsteel Question.

I've finally got around to making some whoopie slings with my Group Buy Amsteel. Are the coloured fibres in the centre load bearing, or have they just been put there to get in the way? From what I've read, the strength appears to be in the braided outer.

Its a tracer put in to distuinguish it from copies-some of the line had it, some was pre-tracer. Just pull it out mate if it gets in the way.

It makes great thread for locking splices too
