Grizedale Site - Lake District

I've heard mention of the Grizedale site on a couple of posts on the forum and it sounds like a great place. I've heard contradictory statements on whether they allow hammocks. Is anyone who has been there recently able to confirm if Hammocks are supported (excuse the pun!).

If not here, any other suggestions for somewhere 7pm Friday night (within 70 miles of Skipton)

I really don't want to imagine how H&S comes into it. I pick two trees, I check the trees, I hang the hammock, I test the hammock. If any of these steps fail then I learn to do it better next time. Surely the site owner has no responsibility for my poor decisions?

Such a shame.
