My name is Fin and my playground is the Lake District. I have been interested in the great outdoors most of my life and in particular I've enjoyed fell-walking, camping and fishing. These days I tend to combine my activities to backpack-fishing or bushcraft-camping, also I do like to wildcamp ultralight in the mountains when the mood strikes me. I'm always amazed at the high quality of information, stories and photographs submitted by contributors to Bushcraft UK and have decided to put aside my fear of technology (computers) and join you all.
I view technology as a necessary evil which I suppose is part and parcel of the evolutionary process of mankind, perhaps this is why the great outdoors is treasured by many of us here.
