Where do you get you’re Green wood?? This might sound like a silly question, obviously the wood needs to come from a living or freshly cut tree or at least be unseasoned, I don’t mind taking the odd limb and tidying the cut up but I want to make another Kuksa and don’t feel I ought to cut down a section of tree large enough for the job. I’ve completed my first Kuksa and used a lump of Chestnut that had been felled and probably sat around for months if not years. I’m pleased with the results but my hands are blistered and my tools blunt.

of course... tree surgeons. Plenty of them in the yellow pages. I dont suppose you pay as much for unseasoned wood either

I'll go make some enquiries, I said it was a silly question with a simple answer

Cheers
