I`ve just bought a green SAS Smock from Special Air Sea Services in Lancaster.It`s not ventile but is quite similar, ......... and a whole lot cheaper.Worth a look I think.Anyway I`ll keep you posted when I`ve had a chance to give it a good try.

I'v had my kit karry smock for about 4 years and still love it.

Is it the gabardine one...or the oxford weave one..? .....about £120 ?

It the rip stop 94% cotton 6% polyester. Think is one of the first ones?
Still my favorite jacket.

I used a DPM version in service and it was the dog's danglies as the say! Now use an OG one - same again!
