Well seeing as i've slipped this question into a few other posts and i have recieved no replies i thought i would be annoying and make a thread on it.

So what are you opinions on these please? How easy is the axe to sharpen? Can you get a razor edge (dont mind too much if it cant)?

Cheers

very good scott - and tes you can get a good edge on your axe or your knife.

Use it in a circular motion and make sure your axes head in in a position where it is firmly held in place to avoid slipping.

I've got some good results with my GB Puck, even when sharpening a quite battered Gerber Camp Axe. As has been said make sure the axe head is secure or if you are sharpening a smaller axe (my GB Hatchett for example) then you can take the axe to the stone.

I experimented with wet/dry and it has to be said, wetter was better
