Ooooooo thank you so much for the heads=up and link :)

Glad someone else gets excited as I do. I'm not a twitcher but I always loved watching them on the nest and we had three nests within a few miles of the old farm. The birds used to ride the thermals up on the hill which the farm was on before heading off fishing.

Its funny, but for a long while I thought the Osprey was an endangered species, as in the UK its very rare, and lots of stories over the years about protecting their nesting sites and locations. Yet the more I travelled, the more it became clear that these things are absolutely everywere! THroughout Africa and Asia they seem to be on every large lake, and in Floria it seems that every other tree in the Everglades has one sitting on it!
