Got this off dad today

I have used library pics to illustrate...

The markings on the blade and the marlin spike along with the wooden handle seem to point towards it being between 1930 and 1945...

Sadly it will become a bit of a drawer king as it is a gravity blade...

It has been re-sharpened so not in mint condition either.

That is why it is being locked in a safe until I can get it military museum.

Its perfectly fine for him to own that knife. It illegal to sell or buy them but if you already own one its not an issue unless you go waving it about in public.
