Googlefu genius required

Evening all,

my googlefu is not good tonight, i'm trying to find someone / somewhere to buy the sheepskin to put in fly wallets, i've spent over an hour looking with no luck whatsoever

does anyone know of where i can buy this stuff from ?

any help / link etc would be greatly appreciated

Hmmmm.....i'd also have to cut the wool down to the required length ( half inch max ), not sure how good that would look.

i wonder about synthetic wool, the type of stuff you get lining boots etc ?

I think it's lamb wool rather than sheep wool. That's what my brain is saying anyway.

Wrong ! just done some checking ( wish i'd done that before i pressed "buy" ) the pile is too high, it's 25 - 38mm, all i'm looking for is 10mm max Oh well, the dogs got a new bed then

Sheepskin insoles work. It's what I put in my fly boxes I made from old Video tape boxes.

Search for Bartl sheepskin grooming mit on eBay. The nose band may also serve.
