Google earth help.

Need some help here, I have found a nice little walk on GE and have been able to mark out a route on there.
What i need to do is send the link with route marked to someone but i have no idea how its done.

Can anyone help. I could take a screen shot and email as a picture bbut then they wont be able to zoom in/out to the surrounding area.

It might be easier to transpose it onto google maps? Thats quite intuitive to create and share maps

in your places tab on the left toolbar you should be able to right click and email

+1. The collaborate button on Googlemaps makes sharing maps easy. All 'Collaborators' have the option to edit the maps too.

It lets you save routes and share them , for plotting the route just use the "straight lines" otherwise it tries to follow the nearest road which isnt always ideal

I once (in my infinate wisdom) used Google Earth to lead me to a geocache, well wasnt I stunned at the way the 'flat easy walk' turned into a mountainous nightmare, you see GE is as flat as a Bushman painting....will never fall into that trap again.
