Gloves - leather?

Hi everyone
What gloves do people use?
For those that don't I highly recommend starting to use gloves.
I have a cheap pair of leather work gloves, Amazon specials,
They are pretty robust and cheap so I don't mind being rough with them.

Problem is they are particularly good for more dextrose work, pre even prolonged use of tools like saws and axes, as the effectively make the handle bigger.

What do you use? Do you use leather or synthetic, do you like a certain type of leather?

Aldi white goatskin work gloves - I have had several pairs and whenever they come in store I buy more ... a hedge against when they no longer are available!
They are great for tool usage (even fine carving) and I also use them for bramble pulling with rarely any thorn penetration. Best gloves I have ever had for the price - which I think is only £5 or £6...

Don’t like gloves most of the time. They aren’t part of my camping kit.

However for peeling larch, pulling nettles or handling oily stuff I’ll wear “rigger” gloves. I think that’s what @Kepis is referring to as trucker gloves

These are the gloves I now use for working both in the garden and in the wood for everything serious except when using the chainsaw. They've outlasted any others I've had.

However, I think gloves are a bit like knives, there's no one pair that suits every task. I use NoCry cut resistant gloves when whittling and lighter work gloves for tasks around the campfire.

Thanks, I will try these next. Reasonably priced too.
And ye, I have some level 3 cut resistant ones I got from site too, but tend not to use the to be honest.
also have some gardening gloves that go down to -18 are 100% waterproof and puncture resistant but ironically if you touch say a hot bail handle it transfers heat in a fraction of a second and stays hot, found out the hard way and I had to almost rip one off once after organising a fire wearing one lol.
Amazing for cold hikes or anything water related though.
