Hey everyone.Your snow and lousy weather has made the national news here.
Our snowfall so far this year is well below normal. For those of you that don't want it, please feel free to send it my way.I'd love to have it!:D

Well, why don't we share it?
Tell you what, we can scrape all the stuff off the roads and send it over? That way everyone will be happy.
More than happy to send it over at no cost, so long as you cover postage..?

sorry dude, we're are enjoying it far too much to spare any. :)

actually it's the ice we could do with getting rid of if you fancy that instead?

That's the problem we cant even do that right

I'm sure there's lots of you enjoying the snow, but in all seriousness
I can sympathize with those of you that don't like it.
It's much the same here in places like Vancouver-snow pretty well shuts things down as they generally are unprepared for that sort of thing, whereas for most of the country it's normal.
The main thing is for everyone to stay safe.Treacherous roads are dangerous no matter where you live.
I really do wish we'd get more snow here though:)
(I've got about a 300km snowmobile trip coming up-I don't fancy banging off rocks when there's too little snow)

A snowmobile is just what I could do with right now to get to the shops. We don't have a car and usually just pull a shopping trolly, but there's no chance of that right now.
This was outside my front window this morning.

You have my sympathy Eric :)

I had an accident with the car a week ago, and today and I finally managed to get it up to East Kilbride to the body repair workshop.
They gave me a courtesy car, a brand new, never out of the showroom Fiat 500 to drive :yikes: Me, in a brand new, gleaming and pristine, car, in this weather
I think I'd rather have had the trolley.

cheers,
Toddy

ive got an idea send us your snow plows, and experienced guys so they can show us how it done.
then on the way back they can take as much as they like

How about we send you the lorry loads of snow that our council has scraped off our village roads since sunday. Its all just lying in a farmers field- a massive sledging hill. The kids will still have fun with that in June!!!
What a job, they just start again the same bit that they cleared the day before....
Personally I'm enjoying this enforced time-out, pleanty time for crafts, baking and playing in the snow. I'm quite happy to keep our snow :)
Cheers
Ness :)
