Hi all,
I've just acquired myself a used German army mountain pack from Endicotts (usual great service) and I'm pleased with it.
Inside it has a pocket for the folding sleeping mat which is neat and I like the fact that you can slip things (Axe) down the side of the pockets.
Im going to use it as a day pack or for when I am out teaching the scouts.
I'm always intrigued as how how military use their kit though. Does anyone know how the German army use the pack, is there standard issue kit that goes into it? Water bottle? Stove? Sleeping bag? I'd be keen to know how they 'load it out' if anyone knows.
Thanks
Barry
