Crikey this thread brings back some very fond childhood memories of playing with gat guns, spud guns, playing stretch with knifes (chucking them into the ground to make each other stretch to reach knife), using two tin cans tied together with a length of string for a pretend telephone, scrumping, and so much more, all of them outdoor activities that would sometimes get us a clip round the ear but would sadly get kids of today into far more serious trouble. Some great photos on post 36 by johnbaz, I had one of those bsa scorpions as well.

Just had another look and yer right - sorry Ocean, on reading further seems they're discontinued, plenty second hand on line. Though to be honest you could pick up something for the same price that shoots straighter.
