gas stove refill

sorry if this is in the wrong place, please move it to right part of the forum if it is.

what it is i have a clansman stove, and i need refills for it but can't find any, does anyone know if they still do the refills for them?

I thought i ask here if anyone is going to know you guys/girls would know.

sorry i should of said which one. it's a Veritas clansman picnic stove

Then it's at least 40 years old if not older... They used a proprietary canister which is no longer in production...

I'd get looking on eBay or somewhere for a stove that uses canisters you can still source.

Take a look at the adapter that's on the stove, if you can screw it off you might be able to take one off a new stove and screw it in giving yourself a modern adapter. It might take a trip to the plumbing supply store and a few brass pipe fittings to make it all fit. If it can't be screwed out you're probably "pooched" as we say in Canada.
