Fruit leather recipe?

I recently got a westfalia dehydrator for my birthday, and I was wondering if anyone had an idiot proof recipe for fruit leather?

its basically very simple - cook then mash the fruit then dry it out.

I've not gotten round to getting a dehydrator but the process is the same I assume. I reckon you'll need to line your trays with something to stop it all falling through.
