Bison are curious and confident and typically herbivore aggressive.
They will, ever so slowly, approach you with the sole intent
of getting up close to meet you and greet you and crush you against the nearest tree or 8" diameter fence post.
Failing that, they want to gore you and stomp you into a pulp.
You have an excellent opportunity for one shot. Don't mess that up.
