Hi all,
In a clear out of the shed I found my tub of clay from when I used to do that kind of thing. At the time I was interested in making a traditional kiln and using traditional methods and materials, and this was the closest I could get to the clay of the time. I never did get round to making the kiln, and most of the clay is still there - I think the tub weighs about 40kg.
Anyone who can pick it up either from home (near Calne, Wilts) or work (Bradley Stoke, Bristol, near the RAC building) is more than welcome to it - if you make the traditonal kiln, just send me some pictures of how it worked and what you made!
