Hiya folks,
I've stolen this idea from the British Blades forums, which is where I found a link to this pace. Basically it works like this:
I offer a prize to the winner who guesses the answer correctly (+/-) I'll then post said prize free P&P to the winner.
So it's a win/win situation. Geddit? It just needs people to take part.
So firstly have a look at the prize, which you get to choose from 4 options below.
A Paracord bracelet made by yours truly. I bought one off ebay before Christmas and having looked at it, figured I could make one as good, if not better. These are my first attempts, with "upgrades".
The logic of this bracelet is you wear it 24/7 and if there's ever a cause for you to need 8ft of handy paracord, you'll always have it with you, unraveling it is really easy. This type of paracord has a core of 8 thinner strands which can be pulled out and used as fishing line etc. Clever eh?
#1 is 8ft of paracord with a 13mm button compass set into a leather strap and will fit comfortably around a 220mm wrist.
#2 is exactly the same as above but the compass is set into a piece of Oak. I prefer this type, it's more durable.
#3 is a plain band and a bit longer, perhaps 8.5ft of paracord and will fit comfortably around a 230mm wrist. .
#4 This one's a monster. 14ft of paracord and an emergency whistle incorporated into the sideclip buckle. It's a bit OTT but nice if you like that bulky look. Will fit snugly around a 220mm wrist.
So that's the prize. You get to choose ONE of them.
Yes, that's one of my drawings the bracelets are displayed on, naughty bits covered just to keep the radicals happy.
The question to answer is: How many drawings do you think I did for my website last year? Bear in mind it was down for a while with server problems. No, you don't have to join up to the website, just take an educated guess.
I'll give you a clue, it was between 100 and 500. Nearest answer to it by midnight 28th Feb is the winner. Post your answers as replies below.
Good luck folks.
Biker.
PS Dear moderators, if this breaks any of the rules for the forums please accept my sincere apologies, and delete this posting. However, I did read the posting rules (twice) and couldn't find anything in it that said I couldn't offer something for free. I posted it here because it's both "DIY & traditional craft" i.e. knitting
