Bargain
I must admit I did wonder about those blankets; I just couldn't see how the hang it was possible to cut a skin into wee strips and not get lots of loose fur. On the other hand, folks swear by those reindeer skins for underblankets and they shed worse than a German Shephard in full moult
I had coney fur coats, hats and muffs when I was a little girl, and my first pair of courrans were made of rabbit too.
Very warm they were, and then my infant self sussed out that my new white furs looked awfully like Snowy next door. I refused to ever wear them again. (I think my Mother was actually relieved, they'd been a present from an Aunt who's only child was the most pristine little girl on the planet, while I thought that half an hour spent climbing inside and investigating the coal bunker a happy way to spend some time
there were fossils to be found )
British Red's advice is good, hats and mitts
maybe socks too
cheers,
M
