Well I suppose someone has to stick their neck in the noose. Lofty Wiseman.

Who am I?
I was born an American in 1731. I fought for the Brits against the French and Indians despite not being one of the lads.
I died at the age of 63 but my words live on to this day.

I'm most famous for hunting big animals with small rifles, on my travels I was known as 'Red Man' but a friend of mine took on the name. Nowadays I'm known after the region I spent a lot of time in.
