It does look the same as my Aldi ones. I was using one yesterday for a bit of tree surgery on one of our oaks. Not at all bad for three quid.

I got two from Aldi, one with what it calls "fine teeth" and one with "medium teeth". For what I do (mostly branches and limbs 1" to 4" thick) I find the medium teeth more effective.

i got the fine tooth one from aldi a few years back, its been fine
my wife cut up in to small pieces a dead tree with it, 5 inch diameter trunk
id rather have the med in preference

It looks the same as the ones in poundland.

The wife bought me one home this evening, saying, you could use this. For three quid there's nothing wrong with it.
