Well I had a to at some flint knapping today, great fun- really enjoyed it! The results aren't anything compared to people who know what they're doing, but ! Was chuffed :). Used the percussion knapper I made from antler and an awl come pressure flaked I made from some deer bone :).

Also glued some lovely ferro rods courtesy of Angst of this parish, incredibly kind of you mate! Glued them into place with a clear drying no nails thing- worked really well, strong and tidy :).

Also be awaiting my Boone challenge thread at the weekend, got a Yugoslavian 100% wool army blanket for the floor, and my Hudson Bay on top, Bilmo tarp, Mors pot, Gransfors Bruks small forest axe, Gary mills Timberwolf, Uco heal lantern, water bottle and Bilbank bag is all I'm taking, in the Frost River- will be kit reviews after and a full thread with pictures too! :) I'm actually going to adopt that sleeping system for all nights out now- love the fronteir style stuff! :)
