Flat bow making questions/help

My mate and me are going to make a flat bow this weekend, we have the split ash ready to carve down, just wondering if anyone could give us some advice on the dimensions of the bow (or know of any good tutorials), we would also like to see your flat bows and if you had any problem areas when carving.

stick paleoplanet in google its a paleoarts forum with a shed load of archery tutorials articles etc on it.....they're all very friendly if you need advice too.
