Thanks to Paul ( Bear Thrills ) I now own for £20 a ten foot length of Shim steel to make up a stove pipe to fit my Helsport Veranger 4/6 my winter tent for a trip to Lapland next year .
But how to use a folding stove in a lavvu ,,, fit a stove jack ...
First take one silaconized stove jack from the USA and cut it to bits ,
The old singer works well as always
Test fit
Add some more protection for the straps
another test fit
Pipe a bit long but it will cast all the sparks away from the lavvu
More protection inside
The stove pipe at a bit of an angle to cast the pipe away from the apex of the lavvu , ,
Still needs testing but its to hot today
Tent , inner ,Ground sheet , Pole , pegs and Stove all packed up in a Dutch Army surplus dry bag
Twodogs
