fishing in helensborough

hi all,
just a quick question, i got my son a new fishing rod & i'm going to take him out today, just wondering if there is anywhere in helesborough i.e a pier or a nice bank. was on google maps & there looks to be a pier but i dont know whether i'd be allowed onto it.

I was there last Friday and there were quite a few people fishing from the pier so I suspect you will be fine.

There is a nice spit of shingle a bit further down at Rhu narrows. I used to fish there as a lad and there was always fish to be had. Don't park your car too close, the tide will have it!
