The plastic clamps half way up the legs might prove problematic over a camp fire. If you removed them though and put a self tapper through in it's place it might work. Might be worth experimenting with as it's only a fiver.

Those fishing shelters are very light and fantastic if you put the back to the wind and front to the fire.

They are really worth having in your kit - at that money you don't bemoan a burn hole or two either!

to paraphrase the dog off the churchill adverts, "aaawwwwhh yesh!" i've been after cheap one of these of a decent size for a while, for exactly those reasons! :cool: :cool:

some of the fishing kit will have to be checked out too.
