Finished the blade now, 3x21mm Blade, edge length 106mm, overall length 179mm, high grind very slightly convexed and nice and sharp, slices paper well.

Rounded off a small section of the spine for thumb cuts when carving. Makers mark to sort then I'll crack on with the next one.

Cheers Fellas, always wanted a go at this since I saw the Sweden episode of Ray Mears "Bushcraft". Julius Pettersson makes it look so easy.

That looks great, especially if that's your first go. How did it start out?

Car spring coil. Ive straightened and flattend them into flat stock and ground the rest out before, but this is my first go at trying to forge the tang, tip, and bevels. Still not quite there yet on the bevels but i'll keep on hammerin! :D

Excellent work, you seems to already be there! I must fire up my outdoor forge this summer as well, inspired by folks like you. Thanks for sharing!
