Trip Report First snow and a brew

Today we had the first few centimetres of snow here ,so I popped out with a freind for a brew by the river . Over the next few months we can expect as much as 2 meters of snow . I am looking forward to many trips out in this time

Ah, thanks for the info, looks like a magical spot you have there, any BIG wildlife to watch out for in those parts ?

Mostly just big red deer , we dont get boar here in the mountains where I am they tend to be in the lower lands . we get also steinbok and gams(chamonix) which is like an alpine antelope.
There are reportedly wolves between here and the swiss border but i have never seen a trace of them
