Well, after much perserverance I have finally finished my first ever knife project.

Having attempted it previously using Black Palm handles - which split during shaping!

I almost gave up and tried using paracord for a handle after trawling Youtube for inspiration:

After a bit of online searching I came across some natural canvas micarta scales (from Mick Wardell - thanks Mick!), I decided to have another go.
Thanks to all the advice gleaned from various members on BB.
Here is the finished knife:

Not sure of the steel - I got the blade of a member either on here or UK Blades, but can't remember who! I just liked the size and shape. It doesn't seem too aggressive. Edit: 01 3mm steel from HILLBILL.
Original Black Palm scales from WANDERINGBLADE.
Brass 6mm pins used.
Natural Canvas Micarta scales.
Black fibre liners - which I think work really well with the scales.
OAL 7 1/2 inches
Blade length 3 1/4 inches

It is by no means perfect - I know that! But its a first try. The next one :D be better.
No sheath at the moment. I haven't done any leatherwork at all yet. I did think about trying something in Kydex, but think that it'll look wrong for something hand crafted like this.

As my dad would say: "A blind man would be happy to see it".

Thanks for looking. Comments welcome.
