evenin all,
somebody is bound to know the answer to this on here as its probably realy simple to answer.
Among other things im making some firesteel handles from antler but im unsure what sort of glue to use to hold it in tightly.I dont want to go out buying all sorts.

anybody know ?

I used a two-pack epoxy resin kit from the 'pound' shop.
I scored the firesteel at the end that was in the handle, to give it grip, and it worked fine.

I use superglue. It's not affected by heat. I did turn a few handles on a lathe some while back and the araldite I used at the time sort of melted! Hence the superglue.

many thanks folks..saved me alot of mucking about.

my next mission is finding a source for the firesteel rods without handles as i dont want to have to hack up pre made ones..have only managed to find 1 on fleabay and that was 7 quid.
