Fire by friction in my factory (pic's)

Me and a friend of the forum (mentalnurse ) carl made fire by friction with the bow drill yesterday using only things that we found inside the factory,

we used some dowel from b & Q probably and some pallet wood and we both got an ember

here are the pics

you can see the rolls of cloth behind me to prove it

Does anyone els do anything like this indoors ?

the only problem with wood like this andy was the smoke comming off it.... fancy woods would be nicer smelling..... (plus the firealarms nearly went off)

We can`t even carry a lighter anymore, we have to use these naff electric things like you find in cars.

I once strung my hennessy up between the racking in the storeroom when we were working weekends a few years ago.

I make alsorts in the factory has it is a sewing factory, onece i made a hammok and strung it up between two gurders and fell ars over tit streight to the floor ouch !!!!

same here, work agve me a knifie too! although the one they gave me handily fits on the end of my rifle,and it's a bit cumbersom for fine carving.
