Use hidden mirror mounts Jon. It's what you use to hang heavy mirrors on a wall without the hardware being seen.

It took about 2 weeks to do the bulk of the carving. Its Ash wood btw

WOW, thats the only word i can use to describe my feeling!!

its not that often im taken back by something but that is absolutly amazing, proud isn't the word, i would be feeling higher than that!!

What did you start with? ie the eyes, outline? personally i found my first spoon hard never mind carving art like this!!
