finding stuff you left in bags?

The other day I had a speaking engagement and had to dress up. I wore my charcoal pinstripe suit, white shirt, tie, black shoes. Later in the evening I put my hand in the pants pocket and... crinkle-crinkle... a nice crisp $50 bill! I should dress up more often.

A friend was traveling in South America and went rummaging through her handbag looking for something. She found a live round of .41 magnum ammunition. She and her husband had been on a float trip in Alaska the year previous and it had been in there ever since. She had taken it in and out of airports for the better part of a year. Mac

About 4 months ago I lost a storm lighter I was given last feb for my 40th, I searched my bags coats and shed and the house but alas no lighter. Then last say out with the lads I took along my survival aids sleeping bag to show off, and you guessed it there was the lost lighter.

I USED to leave stuff in my rucksacks, that was until I walked into my garage, put the light on and then studied the face of a mouse peeking out of the lid of my sack having eaten its way through the relatively new £180 piece of kit!!

I make a point of NOT leaving food in any rucksack now but I did recently find a £20 note in my Rescue Call Out gear :grin:
