Field trial. By a swampy patch in Goa.
Some of you may recall that I pointed out the craghopper winter sale.
I got a craghoppers nosquito shirt and trousers (impregnated with anti mozzie stuff). So far after 4 days of use sitting out in the dark near a VERY nasty bit of fetid still water... not a single bite. So mozzies nil and Rod-the-elder 1 :swordfigh . Must add that those around me have half a dozen nasty bites each. So I can reccomend it. Does not do much for flies though they do tend not to land on you as much.
They are good kit in the heat and can be washed in the shower with shampo and will dry in about an hour in a slight breeze. Actually more comfortable to wear than local cotton as they 'wick' and dont stay damp.
Thats about it. Seems to work and is comfortable, also I have not had to nuke myself with spray so I feel its a fair test.
